LE HEDER tells the story of a dysfunctional family, from multiple points of view. When they meet for a weekend in their old, rural family estate in Brittany, generational conflicts, disappointed expectations, the same old routines and outdated gender roles come to play. Le Heder is not only a house and a setting, Le Heder is an idea, a feeling. Le Heder questions what family is. Parents, siblings, children. Their relationships and conflicts. And in the end, Le Heder is a metaphor for growing up and passing away.
